CrossFit Metro 361 is a school of Elite Fitness located in Downtown Corpus Christi, Texas. We are focused on your success and give you everything you need to achieve genuine results. Our students are pushed to their limits every time they step into the gym and they continue to come back because they see dramatic results.
We teach basic to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic conditioning, plyometrics, kettlebell training, Olympic weightlifting, medicine ball and dumbbell training, power-lifting, gymnastics, rowing, running and jumping rope. Our students are extremely diverse in their experience, conditioning, and lives; and include students, business executives, stay-at-home moms, athletes, attorneys, students, and teachers.
We utilize CrossFit as our primary training method, and focus on optimizing physical competence in each of 10 recognized fitness domains:

The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. The atmosphere is one of support and camaraderie to anyone willing to put in the work.

Jason was born and raised in San Antonio and joined the US Navy to serve as a Corpsman (FMF) with US Marine Field units. He is currently a Police Officer with the Corpus Christi PD and is the physical training instructor for the Police Academy. He was a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics team for over five years and also functioned as a sniper.
Jason became a CrossFit junkie after completing his first WOD. He was drenched, sore, and hooked on CrossFit. For Jason, it wasn't just about the workouts and the results- it was about the camaraderie it brought. Next thing he knew, he was training to be a CrossFit coach and received numerous certifications shortly thereafter.
Jason's passion for CrossFit led him to open CrossFit Metro 361 in May of 2011. As a coach, he consistently proves how CrossFit methods can completely change people's lives and continues to show that through hard work and adversity everyone can achieve a new level of fitness through CrossFit.

Unlike many CrossFit coaches, Raquel didn't grow up in an athletic environment and she wasn't a previous member of the law enforcement or military. Nope. Raquel is a loving mom of two great kids, and she is a prime example of how any committed individual, regardless of prior experience or ability, can get in the best shape of their life through CrossFit. She does it all now runs, lifts and loves the outdoors and anything outside!! She loves Life!!
Raquel acts as a Coach on the CFM 361 gym floor, as well as oversees administrative duties. She found great success with CrossFit after battling a medical condition that left her with weight gain she didn't have to deal with in her youth. By combining both the Zone and Paleo way of nutrition with CrossFit methods, Raquel became fitter than she ever was before -improving her overall quality of life. In fact, Raquel went from a size 10 to a size 2 after a year and a half of CrossFitting reducing her body fat percentage to 17%
Women who may be intimidated by CrossFit should definitely have a one-on-one with Raquel – and believe us she welcomes it! As a strong and capable athlete, Raquel routinely proves that women are capable of much more than they think and she challenges women to strive for excellence while reaching for new goals each time they step into the box. She is an excellent motivator.
As well as being a CrossFit leader, Raquel has also become very adept at nutrition and the facets required for better health through diet. She believes nutrition is a daily part of training just as is completing your WOD's. Combined with her great personality and positive attitude, Raquel helps change her clients' lives for the better!
